Properties

In its pure form, 6PPD manifests as a white solid that oxidizes over time, turning into a brown solid upon exposure to air. Industrial-grade 6PPD appears as purple-brown to black-brown granules or flakes, with a tendency to gradually cake when temperatures exceed 35-40℃. It exhibits solubility in various organic solvents such as gasoline, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride, methylbenzene, and ethyl alcohol, while remaining insoluble in water.

Properties

Granules of dark brown to purple-brown appearance with a density of 1.14, this substance is soluble in oils, benzene, ethyl acetate, carbon disulfide, and ethanol. It does not dissolve in gasoline and is insoluble in water. Possessing potent antioxidant properties, it offers exceptional resistance to high temperatures and flex in rubber compounds.

Properties

Rubber antioxidant TMQ(RD) appears as brown amber pieces with a density of 1.05g/cm³. It is soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, and acetone, while remaining insoluble in water. It forms a fine solution when combined with rubber. It is essential to note its combustibility during storage and transportation, emphasizing precautions against fire and moisture.
